Good News, Sad News
I start this month's newsletter with the sad news that on the 7th July we will be having a service laying down the colours of the 7th
Altrincham Boys brigade. In May we had a Reunion of former members and officers of the 7th which was well attended. Whilst it is sad that we have been unable to keep this Company going, we also celebrate the work and influence of this Company on the many boys that have been a part of it over the years giving thanks for all who have been officers and members within it.
On a brighter front in July we have our annual Holiday Clubs for 4 - 11 year olds. This year the theme of Beach Party. We look forward to meeting many of you and your children during the week. We start on 29th July here at Timperley, or if you're away then you can always go to the Holiday Club at Altrincham Methodist Church with a theme of Streetwise starting on 19th August. On July 4th we have another Taizé Service. This month's theme is 'Peace'. Come along for a more contemplative time of worship.
Our monthly Tiny Praise for pre-school children will take place on 15th July at 11:30 with lunch provided. Come along for a sing along, craft and stories about God's wonderful love for us all.
For those who enjoy live music we have out next Live Lounge on Sunday 21st July at 7pm. An evening of live music and worship.
Finally, if you are going away, safe travelling and if you are staying at home I hope there is time to rest.
